The Brda cuisine

Brda cuisine, so very Mediterranean, incredibly inventive and creative. Full of attractive antique highlights, rejuvenated with new combinations and dressed in cosmopolitan clothes.

Fresh ingredients all year round, tasty and succulent vegetables, homemade meats (especially salami and prosciutto), fragrant white polenta, a wealth of herbs and wild shoots (hops, wild asparagus, loboda), and the exceptional Brda olive oil are just some of the highlights of Brda cuisine. Once you've tasted the “krodegine”, “markandele” and almost forgotten chestnut dishes, smelled the fennel blossom, and taken a sip of a good homemade grappa or medicinal brandy, you'll feel the intoxication of Brda in an even different way.


But of course, the main thing is always added by people, experienced hands and a good heart. Everything is prepared with love, shared equally by family members and guests.
