Wine safari - a unique wine adventure

Discover Brda in an exciting way - let the Brda people take you through the hills of Brda in a jeep. Discover corners that are usually hidden from the eyes of visitors, while experiencing delicious wine and olive tastings. You'll learn to identify the brick soil of Brda, visit world-famous winemakers and discover the many secrets of producing the finest wines. Try the “smuggling” of local products like it was done in the past. You are in for a unique experience, full of authentic experiences and adventures. An experience marked by a unique combination of nature, culture and oenology.

Wine safari – short

Takes approximately 3 hours. It starts with a mini-tasting in the vineyard and a snack. We then drive to the winery, where we taste fine wine. We stop for one of the most beautiful views of Brda and return past the beautiful village of Šmartno.

Wine safar – long
This adventure takes 6 hours, but you won't regret it. We'll start in a vineyard with a glass of wine and local delicacies. Then we'll continue to the first cellar to taste the world-renowned Brda wines. Good wine is always accompanied by great food, therefore, we will make a stop after wine tasting and eat something great. But we won't stay only on one side of the border, since we'll take you along a hidden path to the Italian Collio, to a distinguished winemaker's cellar. They won't wait for you empty-handed, but they'll also have a little something to eat. After a nice day we will return back to Slovenia and see what surprise is waiting for us.
