Brda Contemporary Music Festival

This festival is attended by world-renowned musicians and other artists. The purpose of this festival is to encourage cooperation between artists on both sides of the border, and to put Brda on the European map and attract as many new faces and fans.
Various Brda producers (wine and Brda cuisine producers) are also involved in this event. The festival is the meeting point for local artists and representatives of numerous Brda cultural societies.
In short, rich variety of events (workshops, trainings, concerts,..) for all music enthusiasts.

The Brda Contemporary Music Festival returns to the heart of Brda, in the ex cinema in Medana, from September 12th to 14th. Once again, the festival focuses on creating a meeting point between the Italian-Slovenian and international scene, as well as bringing together young musicians with established artists, and combining music with visual art and poetry. This year's edition is dedicated to a long-time friend of the festival who has left us, Mauro Bardusco.

This year we are offering pre-sale tickets so you can secure your ticket before the festival starts. Pre-registration is required for the workshops. The price of the workshop includes the festival ticket, or a day ticket if you only attend the workshop with Ivo Bittova.
