Church of St. Mary Magdalene, Senik
A little outside Senik, the small Gothic church of Saint Magdelene catches your eye. It was rebuilt after the First World War, when only the Gothic window with a roundel on the south wall remained of the original church. Its open ceiling is decorated with ornamental painted planets bearing the year 1862. The church was last restored in 1996. On St Magdalene’s Day, 22 July, people used to organize gatherings by the church where wine and cakes were sold.
