Church of the Nativity of Mary, Barbana

In Barbana, you will find the Church of the Nativity of Mary, which was probably a Gothic church in design, but was given its present appearance in the 19th century. It is therefore a simple late Gothic single-nave church with a shallow, polygonal presbytery. The west façade is surmounted by a double-span bell tower. The portal, which was in the entrance façade, was built into the Church of the Holy Spirit in Fojana. The church was badly damaged. It was restored in 1998 by the local people and a statue of the Virgin Mary from the church from Brdice was transferred to it.
