Church of the Holy Spirit on the Lake, Fojana

If you are an explorer at heart, don't miss a visit to the Church of the Holy Spirit on the Lake, for which oral tradition mentions a cave or lake beneath the church. The fact is that the hillside is slipping, and so is the church. Rado Simoniti, the Slovenian composer is buried in this church. The church was very important for its Gothic frescoes, which were removed during the demolition of the church and are now preserved in a museum.
