Vedrijan

The village of Vedrijan is visible from everywhere thanks to the parish church of St. Vid and the 16th-century bell tower. It was first mentioned in 1319. During World War I, the village was a refugee centre for refugees from other villages and a hospital, and during World War II it was the headquarters of the Kojsko Commandery. Vedrijanšček, the stream below the village, was once the site of five mills, only one of which is still partially preserved, and the stream was crossed by two bridges dating back to the time of the Illyrian provinces.
